  • From "Het Hulseken" there are several walking trails. Within ten minutes you are in the center of Nederweert with various restaurants and fifteen minutes south-east you will find yourself walking in the nature areas of Sarsven, the Banen or the Schoorkuilen.
     
  • The LF 7 Oeverland route from Alkmaar to Maastricht runs along the front and junction 02 of the national cycle network, you can almost read from the living room.
     
  • Within a radius of 20 km you will find the pie town of Weert, the white town of Thorn and the cathedral city of Roermond with its outlet center. For nature lovers the Weerterbos, National Park De Grote Peel, and the Maasplassen Leudal are a real relief.
